Hello i am new to the PLC world and i am trying to control a traffic light for cars and pedestrian
I am using a START BUTTON I0.1...
I AM NOT USING A STOP BUTTON!!
I want to start off with the GR_CAR ON AND RED_PED OFF
Only when i press the START BUTTON the programm will set
The cycle is :
GR_CAR & RED_PED=15s
YEL_CAR & RED_PED=5s
RED_CAR & GR_PED=4 s
RED_CAR & RED_PED=3s
After that it will GO IN GR_CAR & RED_PED for some period(10 seconds) AND THEN its gonna go to cycle again...
I AM HAVING TROUBLE STARTING THE CYCLE WITH THE START BUTTON BECAUSE IN THE PROGRAMM IM MAKING THE SIMULATION IT STARTS THE CYCLE WHEN I AM PRESSING START IN THE SIMULATION AND NOT WHEN I AM PRESSIN THE START BUTTON(I0.1)!! ALSO I WANT TO SET A TIMMER SO AFTER THE 27 SECOND CYCLE IT WILL GO TO GR_CAR & RED_PED FOR 10 SEC AND ONLY THEN IT SETS TO CYCLE AGAIN...
I WILL APRECIATE IF SOME OF YOU GUYS GIVE ME SOME INTEREST...
Thank you in advance..!!!

I think the reason you didnt get a response is because your question is not specific enough. There is not really a way to troubleshoot your program via a forum so the question concerning the start pushbutton is just about impossible to address without more information. Concerning the rest of your question, you will need to try to put down some logic and then come with specific questions to problems that arise. I think everyone sees a school project in this and the only way to learn this is to jump in and try things. Good luck and feel free to post specific questions.
